If you want to be successful in any endeavor in life you must be committed to consistently displaying winning behaviors. Behaviors or habits must be implemented over time in order to truly see the fruits of your labors. Offer Excellent Service: Offer a service that is second to none in deed not in talk. Everyone who goes into business says they are committed to excellence. We know this is not true. Walk the walk and customers will take note and seek you out over your competitors.

Solve Problems: Always remember people buy solutions to problems. If your product doesn't solve a perceived problem they won't buy. This is where you must demonstrate how your product or service will benefit the consumer. If you fail to connect the dots and make a reasonable case then you will lose the sale.

Delegate task appropriately: You focus your attention on the activities that grow your business the most. If you don't have an expertise in an area hire someone who does. The jack of all trades often ends up over worked and frustrated.

It's O.K. to Move on: You've given your best presentation and continue to follow up with the prospect. You can't figure out why they won't come on board. At some point you have to refocus on other prospects. You could spent too much time in a dead end encounter and miss those your really could bring on board.

Have a Focused Strategy: Don't try to be all things to all people. You won't excel in any area. In order to win in this marketplace you have to be extraordinary in some capacity. Develop one or two strategic areas in which you will excel and focus your efforts there.

Be Credible: Don't make claims you can back up. Don't promise the world to prospects only to have to apologize later. Better to under promise and over deliver. Remember we live in a negative social environment one bad customer experience can spread like wild fire damaging your image. Protect it at all cost!
