Work At Home Online - Scam Alert !!!
I have found recently that some of the "big" scammers will lure you in with what sounds like a legitimate "job" They are now even posting their "opportunities" on places like Odesk, elancers and other sites like this.
I got one today that was on Odesk. Pay didn't seem to high, job seemed a bit easy but sometimes people really want people to do simple time consuming tasks. Once I accepted the "invitation" I was informed of how I would have to send them $80 to work for them. Yeah, NOT A CHANCE. So when working at home online, keep your eyes open wide not just for the initial, but even after you respond and think it's ligitimate.
My mother has gone through 4 "interviews" to find out it's a money
laundering scam. One of them interviewed her for more then an hour asking
real legitimate questions. So beware. If they want you to make a payment
it's most likely a scam, if they are going to send you expensive equipment,
it's most likely a scam. Just be careful. The entire world knows what the
economy is like here and when you work at home online they are more then happy to take advantage of it.
