There are many jobs to be considered if you want to work at home online. There are writing jobs, surveys, website building and many more. However, with their numerous numbers, it became hard to determine which one is real and which is not.

There are many jobs that promise to make you rich in a short time. However, most if not all of these are scams. They are just making those promises to attract you.

In order to avoid scams, there are certain things to be done. You can do some research or you can ask directly the company that offers a certain job. Here are some questions that you can ask.

1. What is the contact information provided by the company?
If the company is real and if they offer a real job, then they should give you real contact information such as phone number, email address, or fax. Try to call the phone number that they will provide you and see is someone related to the company will answer the phone. You can also send a mail on the email provided to check if there will be a reply.

2. What exactly is the work that you will do?

A legitimate company with a legitimate job offer will explain in detail what you will be doing. They will provide a step by step instruction and for some, they even provide tutorial videos. If the company does not provide any instruction, or if they are not very clear about the work, then probably, they are not real. Be cautious with those kinds of company.

3. Do you need to pay for the job or is there a registration fee required?

If there is, then the job or company is a scam. Basically, legitimate jobs will not require any registration fee. This is simply because you are the one who will be working; therefore you should be the one who will get paid.

However, there is an exemption where you should be paying like when you are applying in a company engaged with direct sales. The fee that you will be paying will go to the background check up that they will be performing against you. It can also be a payment for the equipment, tools and kit that you will need and use in your work.

If you have asked these questions and a company have given you answers, try to judge if their answers are weak or not. And, if they cannot answer a question, then there is a big tendency that they are not real. Therefore, move on an look for another opportunity to work at home online.
